FAQ
Plain answers, in one place.
General
What is All Fair?
All Fair builds a live model of your business from the records you already keep – what each product costs, earns and keeps – and gives you the kind of analysis a big company’s finance team would. The lenders and organizations you connect with can work from the same model, in the areas you agree to share with them.
Who is it for?
Owners of product businesses – cafés, restaurants, food and beverage producers, packaged-goods makers, specialty shops and makers – and the organizations that back them: community lenders and CDFIs, traditional lenders, chambers of commerce, civic offices, SBDCs and accelerators. Coming soon: market and festival organizers, legal clinics and service businesses such as salons.
How do I get started?
Get your own seat, or redeem the code your lender, chamber or SBDC gave you. Then upload what you already keep – receipts, bank statements, POS exports – and All Fair builds your model. Setup takes about ten minutes.
Do I need a bookkeeper or accounting know-how?
No. All Fair sorts your records into a model of your products and explains every number in plain language. If you already work with a bookkeeper or CPA, invite them – they see the same model you do.
Pricing & billing
What exactly is a seat?
One seat is one business on All Fair – its model, every module, and the people the owner invites to work from it (a lender, a CPA, a coach). Seats are not per user.
How does a sponsored seat work?
A partner organization – a CDFI, lender, chamber or SBDC – pays for seats for the businesses it serves. The owner receives a code, redeems it, and uses All Fair at no cost. The sponsor sees the owner’s business name and contact details, plus the areas of the business the owner agrees to share.
What happens if my sponsorship ends?
Your data stays yours. You can keep your seat at the standard seat price and carry on as before. If you don’t, we keep your account for 30 days and then delete its data – before then, email info@all-fair.com and we’ll send you a copy.
What is included – are modules gated?
Every live module is included in every seat. Modules marked Coming Soon on the Platform page are included when they ship; there are no feature tiers to upgrade through.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card payments are processed by Stripe. If you need to pay another way, book a demo and we will sort it out with you.
Do nonprofits, CDFIs and community organizations get different pricing?
Partner organizations are priced per sponsored business per month, with volume pricing for larger portfolios. Book a demo and we will work through your numbers together.
How do I cancel or change plans?
Seats are billed monthly and managed through Stripe. Get in touch and we will change or cancel your seats for you.
Platform
Which modules are live today?
AI Onboarding & Data Model, Business Canvas, P&L & Forecast, Insights & Visualizations, AI Intelligence, Partner Hub & Collaboration and Portfolio Aggregation. Coming soon: Cash Flow & Funding, Payments & Commerce, CRM, Digital Marketing, Market Discovery, Small Business Hub, Integrations and Impact Reporting – every seat gets them when they ship.
Do I have to use every module?
No. Every seat includes every live module, but you use what helps. Start with your model and your P&L, and add the rest when you need it.
Does All Fair connect to QuickBooks, Square or my bank?
Not yet – integrations are on the way. Until then, upload your exports and statements and All Fair reads them.
What can my lender or partner see?
From the start, your business name and your name and email. When you accept a partner’s invitation, it can also view the areas it asked for – such as sales, costs and financials – and the records those areas are built from, until you remove its access. Removing access stops it seeing more; it can’t take back what it already saw.
Does All Fair make decisions for me?
No. It shows you options and what each would do to your numbers – some worked out by formulas, some written by AI. They aren’t financial, legal or tax advice, and they don’t replace your judgement. You make the call.
Security & data
Who owns my data? Can I export it?
Your data is yours. You can export it as a spreadsheet any time under Settings → Data & Privacy. For your uploaded files or AI chats, or to delete your account, email info@all-fair.com. When an account is closed or no longer in good standing, we delete its data 30 days later – except records we must keep, such as billing records and security logs.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t sell your personal or business data. We do rely on service providers to run All Fair – hosting, AI, payments, email and analytics – and list them on our Subprocessors page. Where All Fair shows patterns across businesses, it never names you, and small groups are never shown.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. We don’t train AI models on your data. Our AI providers – Anthropic first, with OpenAI as a backup – process it to answer you, under business terms that don’t let them train on it, and keep it only for a limited time for safety and legal reasons (usually up to 30 days).
Is my data secure?
Your data is encrypted in transit, and our database and file-storage provider encrypts it at rest and maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 report. We take reasonable, good-faith steps to protect it. All Fair staff can access customer data when they need to – to support you, keep the service secure and improve it – and the changes they make are logged.
